DeepStream’s ongoing collaboration with Disney on custom outdoor cabinetry and fixtures started in 2011, when we created our weatherproof outdoor Oahu Receptacles for the new Aulani Resort and Spa in Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii, and continues today.
The Oahu Receptacle is named to honor the Disney team’s collaboration on the design of these large modern commercial receptacles.
These receptacles, with an ergonomic door for bag exchanges, are a result of Disney’s vast experience. As a result the Oahu is DeepStream’s best selling receptacle. That experience led us to work with the experienced, knowledgeable operations staff at a range of commercial customers over the years to ensure our design solutions deliver benefits based on actual field experience and the feedback of our customers in a wide variety of uses.

All of our custom outdoor cabinetry and fixtures are available in handcrafted tropical hardwood or environmentally friendly, labor saving, HDPE-based recycled plastic lumber. Whichever a customer chooses, DeepStream Designs contributes to Trees for the Future, a non-profit that plants trees and helps create sustainable agricultural systems for villagers, in its customer’s name. Disney alone has a forest of 27,940 trees planted in their name.
