Structural Architectural Aluminum Frame Systems

DeepStream’s seven primary anodized aluminum extrusions create the Audubon and Mariner Structural Architectural Aluminum Frame Systems used to craft the cost-effective solutions you see on our website.

DeepStream Designs’ structural architectural aluminum frame system extrusions should not be confused with typical thin-wall extrusions. The aircraft aluminum walls of our primary extrusions are ¼” thick and are engineered for slide-in-easy modular construction, accepting almost any material of any thickness: Glass, stone, metal, wood, recycled plastic lumber, 3form Ecoresin, polycarbonate, copper, even fabric.

The Audubon Structural Architectural Aluminum Frame System with bronze anodized extrusion and planks was used to build a slide-in-easy bronze anodized 8’ X 40’ X 40’ large equipment screen wall with double gates erected around an installation of several industrial size electrical utility and transformer boxes at a large modern Corten steel city park maintenance building.
The Audubon Structural Architectural Aluminum Frame System was used to build this slide-in-easy bronze-anodized 24′ x 21′ x 6’ H large equipment screen wall with double gates erected around an installation of several industrial size electrical utility and transformer boxes at a large city park maintenance building. The proprietary rigid, but hollow, 4” aluminum planks are part of the Audubon Frame System, and here they create upper and lower lightweight panels in each section that slide up and out of the Audubon extrusion’s unique slots for 360° unhindered equipment access. The equipment screen is also fitted with a 6’ wide double gate for everyday access.

Audubon Anodized Aluminum Frame System Components

A unique feature of the Audubon Aluminum Frame System is the simple, yet robust, slide-in-easy assembly of the system, which saves time and money using non-skilled labor for the assembly of screen walls, fences, and enclosures. Further cost savings derives from the system’s ability to use the anodized aluminum U-Channel extrusion to create composite panels using thin versions of expensive materials like 3form, copper, and marble, or difficult materials like glass and fabric. This allows Architects and Designers an unlimited palette of design materials for projects that may not have been viable without this value-engineered solution.

The composite panel in this example was created with a 3form Eco-resin panel backed by a white panel with both captured inside the Audubon systems U-channel extrusion and held in place by aluminum post screws.
